Isaac Rempe is a lifelong animal advocate, wildlife specialist, and the visionary behind Grizzly Ranch Bear Rescue. With decades of hands-on experience in animal care, behavior, and rehabilitation, Isaac has dedicated his life to giving a voice—and a home—to animals in need.
What began as a personal passion evolved into a full-scale rescue and sanctuary, now spanning 30 acres along the Choctawhatchee River in Hartford, Alabama. Isaac has worked with everything from reptiles to primates, but his deepest commitment is to rescuing bears and misunderstood species that often have nowhere else to go.
Known for his calm presence, rugged outdoor spirit, and deep respect for nature, Isaac brings authenticity, transparency, and tireless dedication to every aspect of the ranch. Whether leading a tour, expanding enclosures, or bottle-feeding a new arrival, Isaac is hands-on, heart-first, and fully committed to the animals' well-being.

Kevin Officer
Kevin Officer is a vital part of the Grizzly Ranch Bear Rescue team, known for his unwavering dedication to animal care and his deep connection with the sanctuary's residents. With a natural ability to read animal behavior and a calm, steady presence, Kevin plays a key role in the daily well-being of our bears, primates, camels, and other rescued animals.
Whether he’s preparing enrichment activities, assisting with habitat maintenance, or leading guests through an educational tour, Kevin brings patience, passion, and a whole lot of heart to everything he does. His sense of humor and easygoing personality make him a favorite among both visitors and animals alike.
Kevin believes that every animal deserves respect and a second chance—and he works every day to make sure they get it.
Angela Rempe
Angela Rempe is the heart behind the scenes at Grizzly Ranch Bear Rescue, bringing warmth, organization, and a genuine love for animals to everything she does. As our Outreach & Guest Experience Coordinator, Angela helps connect the community with the mission—whether she’s scheduling tours, guiding visitors, or sharing the stories of our rescued animals.
With a background in customer service and a lifelong passion for animal welfare, Angela ensures that every guest feels welcomed and inspired during their visit. Her kind nature and attention to detail help keep the ranch running smoothly, while her dedication to education and advocacy strengthens our connection with supporters near and far.

Morgan Officer
Morgan Officer plays a crucial role at Grizzly Ranch Bear Rescue, balancing behind-the-scenes logistics with hands-on animal care. As our Logistics Coordinator & Animal Care Specialist, Morgan ensures that daily operations run smoothly—from managing feed schedules and supply orders to assisting with enclosure maintenance and animal health routines.
With a strong work ethic and deep compassion for animals, Morgan is an essential part of the team that keeps the sanctuary functioning at its best. She works closely with our bears, primates, camels, and other residents to provide consistent, high-quality care while also helping coordinate tour flow, staffing needs, and volunteer efforts.
Morgan’s attention to detail, organizational skills, and love for the animals make her a driving force behind the sanctuary’s mission. Elijah Williams is Grizzly Ranch’s Behavior Specialist and Animal Trainer, known for his calm presence and deep understanding of animal behavior. With years of hands-on experience, Elijah plays a vital role in helping animals recover, adapt, and thrive.
He focuses on behavioral rehabilitation, enrichment planning, and building trust with animals overcoming fear or trauma. Using patience and positive reinforcement, he works closely with our bears, primates, and livestock to promote healthier, more natural behaviors.
Elijah also designs and lays out new enclosures, ensuring each habitat meets the physical and emotional needs of its resident. His thoughtful planning helps create safe, enriching spaces that support long-term well-being.
In addition to training staff and educating guests, Elijah brings clarity and passion to everything he does. He believes every animal deserves a second chance—and he works every day to help them find it.
